Prime Minister Viktor Orbán is preparing for the EU summit starting on Thursday. The government discussed Brussels' new plans all day, but they made it clear that they would not allow Hungary's interests to be neglected!

Brussels' latest proposal on the gas price cap means a gas embargo for Hungary in its current form. Enough of the failed Brussels sanctions!
Ahead of the two-day EU summit in Brussels, which will discuss topics of great importance from the point of view of Hungary's energy security, the Hungarian government met in the Karmelita monastery all day on Wednesday under the leadership of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán, as well as separately with the participation of the ministers responsible for EU affairs - Prime Minister Bertalan Havasi informed MTI press chief. He said: during the discussion of the proposals, it became clear: Brussels' latest proposal on the gas price cap means a gas embargo for Hungary in its current form.
On the other hand, for the Hungarian economy and Hungarian families, the failed Brussels sanctions are already an almost unbearable burden, that's enough - explained the government's position, Bertalan Havasi, adding: Viktor Orbán will accordingly call for a rethinking of the wartime sanctions policy and putting it on a reasonable basis. At the Thursday-Friday summit of EU heads of state and government, about which the Prime Minister also posted:
