186, mostly elderly, chronically ill patients died, and another 2,584 Hungarian citizens were diagnosed with the coronavirus, koronavirus.gov.hu announced on Thursday, highlighting that 3,870,222 people have been vaccinated in Hungary so far, of which 1,822,655 have already received the second they also received a dose of vaccine.
It was written on the government portal: the number of infected people identified in Hungary has increased to 776,983. The number of those who died rose to 27,358, and those who recovered rose to 503,697.
The number of active infected people is 245,928. 5,554 coronavirus patients are being treated in hospitals, of which 662 are on ventilators. There are 31,133 people under official home quarantine, the number of samples has increased to 5,349,792.
