Ukrainian Prime Minister Denisz Smihal told the Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung that if the European Union does not help the country with even greater support than before, then they will not be able to pay salaries and pensions in the coming months - the Unian news agency wrote about this.

The politician said: the European Union has given 9 billion euros in support so far, a large part of which has been used for social benefits and reconstruction. But even that might not be enough, he said, like this

if the union does not provide more money, they will not be able to pay salaries and pensions in the future.

He added that they had used all their reserves. It doesn't matter if it's a loan or a grant, but we have to keep our financial system alive, he said. Smihal emphasized that the Russian interests in Ukraine would also be seized later, thereby covering the 700 billion dollar war damage.
