Mother... What a beautiful word this is in the Hungarian mother tongue. I'm not sure, but as far as I know, most languages just use the word mother. The greatness of the Hungarian language is also reflected in this. Mother, mother!... Because the mother is truly sweet, with which we also express that from the moment of conception she protects, protects and nourishes her child with the world of her love.

The term "mother" includes lifelong attachment, life-giving concern, even when the child already founds his own family. In this case, the mother no longer fears and protects not only her own child, but also her family, while as a grandmother she also tries to take on the role of a mother by taking care of her grandchildren.

A person may not even be able to really appreciate all that a mother does for her child with her kind heart, both in youth and adulthood. Because it is not enough to show some attention and care only on Mother's Day and on notable holidays, but we can repay our mother's kindness with constant gratitude and love, as Jenő Dsida put it very beautifully in her poem:

Tulips

Jenő Dsida: Thanksgiving

Thank God for my mother!
As long as he protects me, nothing hurts!
You surround me with watchful blessing love.
I understand that working day and night does not stop.
His blessed body and soul are tired just for me.
Thank you God for my mother.

I thank you for your soul, from which
prayers come to you morning and night, praying for your child.
Thank you for your heart, which beats for me
- no one on this earth can love me more!
" Thank you for the eyes that radiate goodness,
God, thank you for my mother."

You know, my God, how many orphans
are waiting for your protection and comfort.
Falling down, I beg you: take care of them,
After all, the poor have no mother!
Comfort them with your blessing grace,
cover their great sorrow, bury them!

Bless my mother's journey,
Bless her tears, bless her suffering!
Bless his prayer, in which he does not tire,
Bless my Mother with both hands!

Good God, hear my most fervent prayer:
Thank you, thank you for my mother!
