István Tarlós about Gergely Karácsony: He can't even move without the DK, his party is almost zero percent! The former mayor doesn't see any new development going on, he said, "without exception, we started it".
In Hír TV's Célpont program, Gergely Karácsony's performance in the capital over the past three years was scrutinized. As is known, the mayor's work for Budapest was evaluated by leftists as "excellent", but his predecessor, István Tarlós, has a different opinion.
Among other things, Tarlós noted that Gergely Karácsony's almost exclusive Facebook press conferences are unsympathetic to him because "anyone can write these Facebook messages. It is also impossible to know whether these are his own intellectual products or not," emphasized the former mayor.
The former city manager also stated to host Csongor Gáll that the current mayor of Budapest "had an extremely bad relationship with the government.
It cannot work like this: (…)
one day I make the government a mortal enemy, the next day I go over there to give you some money. This cannot be done," István Tarlós pointed out the irregularities.
The former mayor also drew attention to the fact that in the past three years in Budapest "not much has happened that is not green."
"I don't see any new development going on, we started it without exception," Tarlós underlined.
During the conversation, the former mayor also asked the question, "if they called me a puppet, then what is Gergely Karácsony?"
He can't even move without DK. He is a prisoner of four or five parties. His own party has zero percentage.
Since his resignation, he has not been in an easy position politically either. Especially after he stated that he did it to prevent Klara Dobrev from becoming Prime Minister. You can believe that Gyurcsány's eternal gratitude will haunt him for this sentence," István Tarlós recalled what happened during the primary election.
