Judit Varga posted on her Facebook page that she met Didier Reynders, the EU commissioner responsible for legal enforcement.
"Professional consultation with Didier Reynders, the EU Commissioner responsible for legal enforcement. The government in Brussels is also working to ensure that the Hungarian people receive the resources they are entitled to!" - wrote the Minister of Justice, who did not indicate a specific topic, but his interlocutor, who wrote on Twitter:
"Good and deep conversation with Judit Varga about how to strengthen judicial independence in Hungary."
The topic of judicial independence and the administration of justice was not previously included in the seventeen-week list that Hungary must fulfill to the European Commission, but all such negotiations can contribute to the government achieving the withdrawal of the suspension of the 7.5 billion euro EU funds.
