The Hungarian government, which is on the side of peace, will not stand up to the provocations of the Slovak foreign minister, stated the Secretary of State responsible for bilateral relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade in a Facebook post on Wednesday.
Tamás Menczer responded to Rastislav Kácer's statement published in the Slovak daily Dennik N, according to which: "the arguments we hear from the Hungarian government are often the same as those used by the Kremlin's propaganda in its information war".
The state secretary wrote that Rastislav Kácer has been shown many times - as think thank leader, ambassador and foreign minister - that he does not like Hungarians, which the government regrets, but acknowledges.
"However, we will not stand up to his provocations, we will preserve the strength of the V4 alliance, even Rastislav Kácer cannot destroy that," said Tamás Menczer.
He emphasized: the Hungarian government always acts in accordance with Hungarian interests, wants an immediate ceasefire and peace, even if Rastislav Kácer doesn't like it.
