Defense Minister Kristóf Szalay-Bobrovniczky met with NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg on Tuesday evening. Afterwards, the head of the ministry, who also participated in the meeting of the Defense Council , gave information about what was said at the meeting and the events of the evening.

the missile attack on Poland, the minister said: he spoke with the Secretary General of NATO during the evening, he is in constant contact with the entire European and NATO system, for now they are monitoring and following the events.
"There is even more uncertainty here, for now we don't know exactly what happened. We are waiting for feedback from our Polish colleagues and information about what they know," he added.
The government is monitoring the events, the Hungarian Armed Forces, as always, is ready to defend Hungary, he said. He added: for the time being, we do not need to take any special steps beyond the fact that we are constantly in contact with the entire European and NATO system at the international and military level. He indicated: we are able to react immediately if anything happens, but for now we are watching and waiting for the events.
