In its historical crisis, the domestic left can only use its presence in parliament for scandal politicization, which is why its professional "civilians" settle on the demonstrations, most recently on the dissatisfaction with public education - believes historian Márton Békés, the XXI. Director of the Century Institute. The political scientist presents the strategies of subversion used by opposition movements in Hungary as well as the network of their domestic users in his latest analysis, which was seen by Magyar Nemzet, with particular regard to the planning of the latest "hot autumn" of 2022.

Focusing on the current domestic protest theme, professional organizers want to channel the energy of wage demands into overthrowing the government

- says the director of the institute in his analytical article , and then points out that the Popovics method has also appeared in sharp detail: in the opposition movements taking place at the end of 2018/19, then in the occupation of the SZFE building in the fall of 2020, and more recently in the anti-government demonstrations set up as "teachers' demonstrations".

The author of the article points out that the actions organized on the basis of the so-called Popovics scenario have nothing to do with raising public education wages. In his opinion, it quickly became a hijacked and escalated conflict, based on the overthrow of the democratically elected government.

According to Márton Békés, Szrgya Popovics, whom The Guardian only called the secret master builder of the global revolution, published her book Guide to the Revolution in 2015, in which she summarized and recommended to other countries the transferable techniques necessary for the revolution. His mentor is Robert Helvey, a retired colonel of the US Army, to whom US intelligence has organized training for "civilians" in nonviolent resistance. In his book, Popovics only calls him Colonel Bob. The book presentation of the Hungarian edition of the Popovics book, which has also been read in Hungarian since 2017, was organized by the Közös Ország Mozgalom led by Márton Gulyás. As Magyar Nemzet also reported, the author said at the event: "he expects that, following his book, Budapest activists will contact him and ask for his advice in organizing their non-violent movements".

After the Fidesz election victory on April 3, 2022, it was repeatedly stated in opposition circles that, in the words of Ákos Hadházy

Orbán is very afraid of demonstrations, strikes, of many people suddenly expressing at the same time: enough is enough.

At the same time, Péter Juhász, who made a name for himself in several opposition initiatives of the previous decade, declared that "it is not possible to replace Fidesz in a democratic election, so social pressure must be created […] the goal is to organize civil street resistance". And Péter Márky-Zay, the failed candidate for prime minister of the left coalition, said: "from now on, there is opposition instead of opposition".

Therefore, the author of the analysis concludes, we can talk about them more as cadre parties than as parliamentary actors in the traditional sense.
