Like Hungary, Poland has not yet received the EU funds due to them, the European Commission is essentially blackmailing the right-wing government by paying the funds, so it wants to take control of the country. Among other things, Janusz Kowalski, the Polish Deputy Minister of Agriculture, referred to this in an interview. He indicated: the European Commission is a body that is paid with taxpayers' money, and it should pursue goals that are in line with the interests of the member states.
"On the other hand, Brussels bureaucrats are blackmailing the Poles, lying and stealing their money," Kowalski said, noting that "today is the right moment to backtrack on previous decisions, because the European Union has deceived Poland, is blackmailing it, is not paying who the money".
The deputy minister presented the situation in which Poland is now through a simple example. – It's like going to a bank, taking out a loan, and the bank wouldn't pay the money. It would set new conditions and treat the loan as a kind of bribe. As a Polish representative, I do not agree with Brussels writing me a bill and telling me to change the rules of the Sejm, he explained.
The European left, driven by a sense of superiority, threatens and wants to punish everyone who disagrees with them, said Tamás Deutsch, the Fidesz EP representative.
– The European Union wants to implement a federalist plan in which there are no independent states, and decisions on laws, taxes and investments are made in Brussels. That's why today Poland should take the risk, veto everything, and under no circumstances agree to any new taxes, emphasized Janusz Kowalski. To this he added:
It is not possible for a Brussels bureaucrat to hold the Polish Prime Minister or ministers accountable for what laws we pass.
The deputy minister also said that he could not imagine a scenario in which the ruling Law and Justice party would agree to deprive Poland of its sovereignty and de facto independence. He is convinced that Law and Justice will support its coalition partner, Solidary Poland, and firmly says no to the federal European Union, the international news agency V4NA reported.
