The plenary session of the European Parliament discussed the 2023 EU budget today. Before the final vote on the budget, the representatives discussed the agreement created by the negotiators of the council and the parliament. In his speech, MEP Andor Deli emphasized that the Fidesz representative group has reservations in principle regarding next year's EU budget, as the proceedings against Hungary have not yet ended, according to the press release sent to our editorial office.

According to the statement of the European Parliament group of Fidesz, the European and Hungarian left are restless, they want to take away the EU funds that belong to Hungary.

Fidesz representative Andor Deli said:

an agreement was reached on the 2023 budget. This will ensure that there is enough money to support EU programmes.

At the same time, the Fidesz EP representative group has reservations in principle, as the proceedings against Hungary have not yet ended. The situation around the restoration fund is known, it can be seen that

the left wing of the European Parliament is not resting.

He does not even accept the literal implementation of his own invention, the conditionality procedure. Andor Deli emphasized: the European and Hungarian left wants to take away the EU funds that belong to Hungary.

They are disturbed by the fact that the committee and the Hungarian government are negotiating calmly and successfully,

and we are now only days away from resolving the situation. Therefore, with a parliamentary resolution, they want to put pressure on the committee and the council before the final decision-making, the announcement states.
