According to the founding president of the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service, life is based on Christian values, which is why they must be preserved in Europe.
"God has already come, but at the same time he will come again to judge the world. However, the third coming is in the present, since God is constantly coming among us. It is the self-revelation of God who revealed himself in Jesus. Everything depends on whether this meeting takes place," explained Father Imre Kozma, the founding president of the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service, who was a guest of M1's Ma regleg program on the first Sunday of Advent.
Advent is an expectation that is fulfilled, because it means that the Lord will come. One's life depends on encounters. If we meet God, it determines not only our individual life, but also our community life - said Father Imre Kozma, the founding president of the Hungarian Charity Service in Malta.
He explained that the Advent holiday forms a triple unity, since
"God has already come, but at the same time he will come again to judge the world. However, the third coming is in the present, since God is constantly coming among us. It is the self-revelation of God who revealed himself in Jesus. Everything depends on whether this meeting is realized"
said Father Imre Kozma.
Father Kozma pointed out: the Gospel says that in the time of Noah, people ate, drank, married, and then suddenly the flood came. The world is like that. But "we don't live to eat, we eat to live. The order is upset if we only pay attention to the first of this balance."
The founding president of the Hungarian Maltese Charity also considers it important that life should be born through people finding each other. If our life is defined by the problems of other people, then there is no need to fear the "third coming", i.e. judgment.
He emphasized: we should not only think about ourselves, but also about others! Man is a God-faced being, and if we can show love, then the world will be in order
- added Imre Kozma.
According to the founding president of the Hungarian Maltese Charity Service, life is based on Christian values, which is why they must be preserved in Europe. "Even for an unbeliever, human contact is important. But we don't just know what's good, we also do it," he emphasized.
Regarding Christian traditions, Imre Kozma said that they "carry great values". Our traditions also tell us that God is for us. They all explained that we share a common path, and the world is the way it reflects God's call.
