The President of the Republic said that we all sympathize with those in trouble.
Magyar Nemzet writes that President Katalin Novák's two-day visit to Ukraine continued in Transcarpathia on Sunday. They added: spending Saturday in Kiev, the head of state will be visiting Beregsászs on Sunday. Katalin Novák participated in the Advent service of the local Reformed church, where she declared:
"We are 15 million here in spirit, who sympathize with those in trouble. Not even war can destroy love."
He said that it is written that he came as a harbinger of peace, and it is a gift for him that "he can light the first Advent candle late on Sunday afternoon in Subcarpathia, which has suffered a lot."
The newspaper reported on the further program: after the festive service, Novák will attend the II. Ferenc Rákóczi goes to the Transcarpathian Hungarian College, where he lays a wreath on the memorial plaque of his former predecessor, Ferenc Mádl, meets the college's management, students, and members of the Subcarpathian Hungarian Large Family Association, and then holds a working meeting with the management of the Subcarpathian Hungarian Cultural Association (KMKSZ). Katalin Novák's Transcarpathian program ends with the lighting of the first Advent candle in the square in front of the college in Beregszasz.
