"It's amazing how the Ukrainians calculate," added the expert, adding that the Ukrainians report drastically more damage than the Americans.

György Nógrádi was once again a guest of Ultrahang.  The professor said that in 2023, Ukraine will spend 18.9% of GDP on defense spending, while Europe will  spend a fraction of this, barely 2%.

"Ukraine cannot exist without Western aid," Nógrádi stated, then shared that the Americans estimated the damage at 350 billion euros during their damage assessment, while the Ukrainians estimated it at 750 billion euros. According to him, the Ukrainians want to "reach out" for 400 billion euros. "It's amazing how Ukrainians count," he added.

Nógrádi also reported that according to the Ukrainian foreign minister, whoever talks about peace should end it, because Ukraine's  goal is not a truce or peace, but victory over the Russians. "I see that today the Russians are not on the ground of reality either, but I am afraid that the Ukrainians do not know what reality is."

"February 24 is the beginning of the war. In January, Von der Leyen orders 120 ships of shale gas. How did you know war was about to break out?  How dare you order shale gas for 7-8 times the European price? These are amazing questions..." Nógrádi shared his poetic questions. "One does not dare to answer these. [...] What decisions will Von der Leyen make on today's most important European political issues, when his family lives in the USA, when he announced that his secretariat is staffed by Americans? A European cannot set foot in the office of the American president..." - the professor expressed his doubts.

Europe plays an increasingly subordinate role," he stated.
