The system usage fees to be paid by residential consumers of electricity cannot be increased in 2023 - this is what the new government decree, which was published in the Magyar Közlöny on Tuesday night, says, among other things. In this regard, Mandiner wrote: the decree allocates HUF 100 billion from the overhead protection fund to pay the recognized costs of the distributors, while HUF 80 billion is allocated to the recognized costs of the transmission system operator. The law also states that with effect from January 1, 2023, among the consumers entitled to universal service, those micro-enterprises who apply for this under 217/2022. (VI. 17.) are entitled on the basis of Section 2, Paragraph (1) point b) of Government Decree, and must be considered as users with profile accounts.
These businesses buy electricity at low voltage, all their places of use together have a connection capacity of no more than 3×63 A, and according to the above government decree of June, they are entitled to buy electricity at the price of the universal service up to a consumption of 4,606 kWh/year/all places of use.
According to the law, about the reclassification and the related payment conditions, "if the distributor manages the network usage contract as an agent, the universal service provider shall notify the user at least 15 days before the reclassification, who may request that his billing be done according to the original conditions within 30 days of receiving the information ".
