An interesting incident happened on Ursula von der Leyen's Twitter page. The president of the European Commission explained in the video that an estimated 20,000 civilians and more than 100,000 Ukrainian soldiers died in the Russian-Ukrainian war.
The twist in the story is that only a fraction of this number has been officially recognized by the Ukrainians so far.
Original video:
Many thanks to those who pointed out the inaccuracy regarding the figures in a previous version of this video.
The estimate used, from external sources, should have referred to casualties, ie both killed and injured, and was meant to show Russia's brutality. https://t.co/GesDe7bK8v

The video was deleted almost immediately - however, the internet does not forget, the uncensored version was immediately uploaded to various sites - and then returned minutes later, but the part about the dead soldiers and civilians was cut out of it.
New video:
Russia must pay for its horrific crimes.
We will work with the ICC and help set up a specialized court to try Russia's crimes.
With our partners, we will make sure that Russia pays for the devastation it caused, with the frozen funds of oligarchs and assets of its central bank pic.twitter.com/RL4Z0dfVE9

Dana Spinant, deputy spokesperson for the European Commission, explained on his Twitter page why the video had to be quickly deleted and censored.
Thanks to those who pointed out the inaccuracy of the figures in the previous version of the video.
The estimate from an external source should have been for casualties, i.e. both dead and wounded, and was intended to show Russian brutality," he tweeted.
