On Thursday evening, under the cover of darkness, the Miracle Deer statue was ceremoniously handed over in the garden of the MNB Surveillance Center and Money Museum under the cover of darkness. According to the MNB announcement, the statue symbolizes renewal, guidance, the search for abundance and happiness, and is a symbol of the Money Museum's mission, the development of financial awareness.

The direction leading to the future is the path of balance and growth - stated György Matolcsy, President of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank, at the inauguration of the Csodaszarvas statue. During the unveiling of the work placed in the garden of the Currency Museum, the central bank governor emphasized that in the thousand years of Hungarian existence, there has always been a path that led to survival.

A statue inauguration is always a special event, and the inauguration of a miraculous deer could not be more special, said György Matolcsy, president of the Magyar Nemzeti Bank (MNB), at the press conference held on the occasion of the inauguration of the Miracle Deer statue on Thursday. The Governor of the Central Bank emphasized that the miraculous deer is a symbolic, spirit-guiding creature, which fits the building housing the Monetary Museum and the MNB's Supervisory Committee.

Legends of the prodigal deer hold that it is a guide to the future. A symbol of strength, security, wealth and happiness. It is an ancient legend of the Hungarians - emphasized the Central Bank Governor. As he said, the MNB would like to give the same guidance to Hungary. György Matolcsy emphasized that in the history of Hungarians, there has always been a path that led to survival, which is why the symbol of the Money Museum is the miraculous deer.

The deer sent a message that we, the Hungarians, should boldly undertake to multiply Hungary's gold reserve - eventually increasing it thirtyfold - explained György Matolcsy. He emphasized that he has more good news in this regard. One is that they achieved a profit of HUF 345 billion on the investment, and they do not burden the taxpayers, since the construction and renovation of all the MNB buildings and the creation of art treasures were financed from these sources. The governor of the central bank emphasized that in the meantime HUF 600 billion in dividends were paid to the budget. The guidance for the future is the path of balance and growth, he stated.

Sculptor Miklós Gábor Szőke dreamed up a gigantic, gilded miracle deer for the side of the Post Palace. The motif of the miraculous deer appeared already in the spring as the Money Museum's logo, and it echoes several times in the building during the visitor's route.

The deer's antlers are made of polished cast bronze, and its body is made of thousands of golden hair plates bent from bronze. In terms of its parameters, the pedestal is more than 6 meters high, while the deer standing on it reaches a height of 5 meters, and the statue weighs more than 15 tons.
