In Slovakia, on the other hand, not quite half of the respondents (49%) agree with the EU's measures aimed at supporting Ukraine, such as the sanctions against Russia,

and with monetary, military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine, the support of which is 73% in the EU and 47% in Slovakia.

The latest Eurobarometer survey confirmed that the population of Europe is still ready to support not only Ukraine, but also the basic values of the European Union. When asked which values the European Parliament should primarily protect, most respondents (36%) indicated democracy, followed by the protection of human rights (29%) and freedom of speech (28%).
