Many domestic NGOs are working to destroy the authority of the Hungarian government, which represents and validates the national-Christian values. The Hungarian Helsinki Committee, K-Monitor, Transparency International Hungary and their peers are like predatory fish in a well-situated lake, where the finners of a more peaceful nature would do well without them. These organizations are engaged in researching the objectionable phenomena, voicing seemingly lofty principles, which can be collected in a bunch and flagged in Brussels and in the Western press, demanding that the Hungarian government be punished.
"Take action against corruption!", "Report to us if you experience corruption" are announced, and the unsuspecting citizen easily follows suit, because he knows that a country without corruption does not exist. Of course, the accusation of corruption is only one of many, but it can be a winner precisely because it rears its head everywhere. There is a lot of corruption in many EU countries, even in Brussels, but these are not in the crosshairs of the pseudo-civilian organizations linked to George Soros.
In "advanced" countries with advanced democracies, the rule of law is supposedly fine. The media and courts are independent (that is, they are independent of national-Christian values and views), and governments respect the main values of the rule of law: the aspirations of illegal migrants to flood Europe, as well as the demands of the LGBTQ and BLM movements.
On the other hand, according to the Soros organizations, the Hungarian government oppresses the courts, undermines the independence of the media, curtails academic freedom, violates human rights, and in many ways damages the values of the EU - mainly left-liberal - which the globalists consider to be. The "civilians" acting according to foreign expectations are presumably disturbed by the fact that Hungary's history is still taught in our country (some of the Western countries already want to get rid of their pre-World War II memories). It can be even more confusing for them that the government supports historic churches, families, and Hungarian minorities across the border.
In any case, no one would be interested in what the pseudo-civilian organizations supported by György Soros think about our government or worldview issues. All this fits into freedom of expression. On the other hand, it is extremely disturbing when this company rails against the Hungarian government in Brussels and proposes to the European Parliament the suspension of EU funds that have long been due to Hungary. It is difficult to understand those who continuously criticize the environment that provides them with a home and a livelihood, and who seek a grip on the democratically elected government just because it does not do its job according to the expectations of the left.
It is very good that we have such patriotic-minded NGOs as the Civil Solidarity Forum-Civil Solidarity Public Foundation (CÖF-CÖKA). This is living proof that civil organizations are not obliged to operate in the service of left-liberal, globalist, or sorosist goals. There are those who believe that attacking the national government is a brave and revolutionary act. They consider this to be true civilian courage, and perhaps imagine themselves to be some kind of hero. This is a big mistake! It takes courage to fight and stand up against overwhelming power. The Hungarian government is doing its work against a huge headwind on the international stage. The European left will do everything to overthrow him, and in this it can count on allies such as the majority of Hungarian opposition parties and the Soros organizations.
Today, it does not take courage to criticize, scold and slander the Hungarian government abroad. It takes courage to stand by him and support him as much as we can. The Orbán government does not only politicize to protect our national interests. It also fights for European civilization, the preservation of which is also of primary importance to CÖF−CÖKA. The patriotic NGO recently also expressed its national commitment by donating the Spiritual Patriot awards. The award was received by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó, on behalf of István Regőczi Foundation, president Anita Herczegh, Ildikó Orosz, II. Ferenc Rákóczi is the president of the Transcarpathian Hungarian College, and jr. Zoltán Lomnici is a constitutional lawyer.
President László Csizmadia expressed a confidence-boosting thought on the occasion of the awarding of the awards: "Since its foundation in 2009, CÖF-CÖKA has been committed to the preservation and expansion of European, Jewish-Christian civilization. There are enough of us on our continent and in the world to set aside our party political interests and voice the peace-creating primacy of God, country and family as spiritual defenders of the country."
