The historical film Hadik, set in 1757, will be shown in Hungarian cinemas from March 9. It relives the story of András Hadik's raid on Berlin in the style of classic Hungarian adventure films.

Hadik was made in the style of such classics of Hungarian film history as The Sons of a Heartless Man or The Stars of Eger, but supplemented with the most modern technical solutions, the filming of which lasted more than six months and ended in February this year, reads the National Film Institute (NFI). in his statement sent to MTI on Tuesday.

The 500-person crew recorded most of the recordings in Keszthely, Gyenesdiás, Mohács, Pécel, as well as in NFI's Huszárik studio in Fót, in Babatpusztán and Komárom near Gödöllő. At the latter location, the scenes of the Battle of Berlin were recorded, in which András Hadik occupied the city with his hussar team, and from which he suddenly left shortly after with a massive war face and the legendary 24 pieces of left-handed gloves.

The title role of the film is played by Zsolt Trill, and Lili Horváth plays the role of Mária Terézia. The film also stars Tamás Szalma, Áron Molnár, Győző Szabó, János Derzsi, Gábor Reviczky, Sándor Gáspár, Péter Forgács, Lajos Kovács, Zoltán Mucsi, Ádám Lábodi and Géza Tordy.

Hadik was produced by B&L Line with the support of the National Film Institute, directed by János Szikora and produced by Endre Nagy. Its technical director is Dyga Zsombor, and the Hollywood stunt expert Steve Dent and Zoltán Gulyás Kiss participated in the planning of the action scenes. The cinematographer is Márk Győri.
