In another city, the children's parents were informed that the kindergarten could be disconnected from the network during a power outage. According to the municipality, there is a high chance of this happening, so they asked all parents to pack extra warm clothes for their children. Earlier, in a school, parents were also asked to send blankets and flashlights with their children to school.

According to V4NA's report, the risk of power outages has become so great in Skåne that the municipalities have informed the parents of preschool children that in the event of a power outage, the children will not receive hot food and will have to wait in cold rooms for the end of the power outage.

"The risk of manual shutdown appears to be real in Skåne and we need to prepare for a possible shutdown." - wrote the municipality in a letter addressed to the children's parents

In the best case, the institutions will be notified of the shutdown no later than the previous day, which can last for 2-4 hours. The municipality therefore asked the parents to pack extra sweaters for the children.

The website of the Klippan municipality also gives households tips on how they can save electricity, for example by reducing the heating in their apartments, by airing out freshly washed clothes instead of using the dryer, and by taking shorter showers.

It is not a unique case in Sweden that children are prepared for power outages, as already reported by V4NA, parents of children attending schools in the Swedish town of Staffanstorp were asked to bring blankets and flashlights to school. This is also because educational institutions can be disconnected from the network at any time in the future

2022Plusz: While the children of Western Europe are preparing for the ordeal, in Ukraine bombs are exploding over their heads like death stars, and in Transcarpathia, the power goes out even in public institutions for the whole day. In other words, not only will there be, but there are also children suffering and of course adults as well. Therefore, peace can only be the solution, preparing for war and sanctions will not solve anything. Making peace is possible only through negotiations and after a ceasefire.

What can the children of the shot up towns expect on the first wartime Christmas? What will little Jesus bring them? Let's pray for them! And we demand peace at all costs!

We should prepare for a better world. For Christmas, light, peace! We ask for God's mercy!
