The victim of the 2006 police terror will be buried on January 11. László Nagy died on the fifth of December 2022 in his fiftieth year.
György Gőbl, the president of the Association of Victims of Public Power, remembers him as follows:
He could have lived, he could have lived happily, if on October 23, 2006, after the 56th commemoration of Fidesz, a policeman did not shoot out his eye.
László Nagy lay helplessly on the ground while blood flowed from his eyes. This image became one of the symbols of the 2006 police terror.
László Nagy's life was ruined after his eye was shot out. He lost his girlfriend, his job. He was unable to process this tragedy, and he was also deeply disheartened by the fact that he did not receive moral satisfaction, the prosecutor's office did not even initiate proceedings against Gyurcsány and his companions.
He appeared in several documentaries and bravely stood up to the public to finally punish the criminals of 2006. In connection with the film Áldozatok 2006, he approached Ferenc Gyurcsány to apologize, but the former prime minister laughed at him.
On September 29, 2011, he filed a criminal complaint with the prosecutor's office in connection with the 2006 police terror. Their report was not rejected by the prosecutor's office, so according to the law, the investigation is ongoing.
The membership of the Association of Victims of Public Power requests the authorities, media workers, researchers and the entire Hungarian society to pour clean water into the glass regarding the 2006 police terror, and finally make the guilty answer!
