Under the leadership of national team captain Marco Rossi, Hungarian football has reached a new level, said the legendary football coach Fabio Capello, who presented the award at the M4 Sport - Sportsman of the Year gala on Monday evening, and who also met Viktor Orbán during the day.

The 76-year-old Italian specialist, who led several teams to the Italian league title, won the Champions League with AC Milan, and was the Spanish champion with Real Madrid, told M4 Sport on Monday:

He added that behind the success is the coach and his staff, thanks to them the players have undergone significant development.

Fabio Capello - who also has ties to Hungary, as his father was born in Hímesháza in Baranya County - spoke about the World Cup in Qatar, which ended last month, which, in his opinion, was exceptionally strong in terms of tactics and the speed of the game.
