People try to keep up with the technological development of the 21st century. The mayor of Budapest, Gergely Karácsony, is doing the same, who just asked an artificial intelligence about the decisions that best serve the long-term interests of Budapest, with naturally unsurprising results.

Two things are definitely clear from Gergely Karácsony's Facebook post on Sunday. One is that the mayor still seems to like to shift the blame to the government, and that it is difficult for him to recognize when the algorithm is showing him a crooked mirror.

The mayor starts his post on Sunday like this: "This is when artificial intelligence is smarter than the government, because it knows what we, the people of Budapest, know well..." used a chatbot.

Gergely Karácsony did not hesitate and asked the artificial intelligence the question: "Which decisions best serve the long-term interests of Budapest?" Looking at the answers, however, it seems that the mayor rather cut the tree under himself with this.

The chabot is free from party politics, so it immediately starts with the most obvious answer, namely the development of transport. And artificial intelligence puts it painfully sharply, because it notes that this includes the development of public transport and the improvement of the condition of roads and bridges.

This is extremely unpleasant because, for example, the only completed overpass development, the Csömör út overpass, was prepared by the city administration led by István Tarlós. However, there would be plenty of demand for such works, as both the Flórián tér overpass and the Népliget overpass are awaiting repair work. In the case of the overpass in Népliget, for example, a weight limit had to be introduced due to its deteriorating technical condition.

The chatbot considered environmental protection to be equally important, but Gergely Karácsony's and artificial intelligence's concepts of greening are presumably different, since in its answer the machine did not address beekeepers and the mayor's other seemingly unorthodox greening ideas.

Just as Gergely Karácsony apparently did not notice that when the chatbot emphasizes the development of tourism and the promotion of the city's artistic and cultural values, then perhaps he also thinks that the mayor has an obligation to appear at, say, the opening of the Museum of Ethnography, if the institution is located in a managed capital.

In addition to these, the other points are also worth browsing, in any case, the technology still needs to improve noticeably, since Gergely Karácsony certainly did not become smarter from the answers of the artificial intelligence.
