On the Ukrainian border, Norbert Heizler, the national coordinator of the NGO, handed over generators to Transcarpathian schools on behalf of CÖF-CÖKA.
Until now, CÖF-CÖKA has considered charitable activities to be a priority task, which it can fulfill even more widely thanks to the sponsorship of Szerencsejáték Zrt. The residents of war-torn Ukraine suffer the greatest need now, for whom heating their properties in the winter is one of the biggest problems. CÖF-CÖKA is trying to help Transcarpathian schools with its donation, thereby expressing the solidarity and love of the Hungarian people.
Gabriella Szabó, deputy principal of Tiszaágtelek High School in Subcarpathia, accepted the donation and said that due to the regular power outages, it is almost impossible to heat the school without generators, so the noble gesture of CÖF-CÖKA is extremely helpful.
