According to the communications director of Fidesz, the left is still on the side of war, even though it is in the interest of Hungary and the whole world that the Russian-Ukrainian war ends as soon as possible.
The war has been going on for almost a year now, tens of thousands have already died on the battlefield, and the number of victims is increasing every day, despite this, the "dollar left" is still on the side of the war, István Hollik said in a video statement sent to MTI on Monday.
He added:
the governing parties, on the other hand, are on the side of peace, because they are convinced that it is in the interest of the world, Europe and Hungary that the war ends as soon as possible.
The director of communications stated, "the dollar left, hand in hand with Brussels, is doing everything to keep the war going."
He referred to it: last week, in a new resolution in the European Parliament, not only did they demand a complete energy embargo, but they also voted to increase and speed up military aid and weapons delivery.
"Brussels therefore wants to send even more weapons to the war, and the dollar left does not hide its position either, since all its representatives voted for this European Parliament resolution, from Klára Dobrev to Katalin Czech."
This was also confirmed by Bence Tordai (Párbeszéd), who said that the "dollar left would continue to supply weapons to the war", said István Hollik.
He stated: Fidesz-KDNP still stands for peace, believes that no one can drag Hungary into war, and therefore continues to "say no to the dangerous policy of the dollar left and Brussels".
