The Flame of Love movement held a spiritual day with exorcist Father Jim Blount on February 11 in the St. Stephen's Basilica in Budapest. The common prayer strengthened the more than a thousand participants with encouraging, healing and comforting thoughts.
"We need to open our hearts to God's love and accept his word. In the hour of mercy, we call on the Holy Spirit" - Father Gábor Kemenes introduced the long-repeated prayer "For the painful suffering of Jesus, have mercy on us and the whole world".
Győző Kindelmann, the international coordinator of the spiritual movement, welcomed exorcist Father Jim Blount, the internationally known missionary of the Flame of Love movement.
Awakening, encouraging and comforting thoughts, witnessing stories, shared prayers and songs alternated on the spiritual day. Many of the participants lived the sacrament of reconciliation.
We are lonely and God is lonely for us. We were created for God, to live with him.
He sent his son to show us the way. Heaven was made for us and is incomplete without us. We have to get there. The way is that we must become saints, because only saints are happy. Let's encourage and protect each other in this, so Hungary will be a happy country," said the event.
A prayer followed - with the lines of Psalm 91 - for Hungary, so that crime, corruption, pornography and abortion do not reach them. Even if a thousand fall beside you, and ten thousand on your right, Hungary will not reach you. The gathered crowd prayed the glorious rosary with Father Jim so that Hungary could be happier and more joyful.
Testimonial stories followed. How a woman was freed from demons when the prayer of union with Jesus was said over her. Father Jim learned this prayer from Mrs. Elizabeth. Erzsébet Károlyné Szántó Kindelmann wrote down the prayer inspired by Mary and Jesus.
During the other miraculous event, Satan appeared to Father Jim, and his appearance was accompanied by terrifying natural phenomena. "I despise you," said the evil one. Father Jim sighed, if he hates Satan, he must be a good man. "We must seek to be loved by God and be glad to be hated by the devil. How are you doing with this? Terrible question. I'm afraid Satan loves some of you. If we do not live our faith, we are weak. That's what the devil likes. And too many weak people can destroy the world.”
