According to the current penal code, a person who has reached the age of 18, who commits a sexual act with a person who has reached the age of 14 but has not yet reached the age of 18 by abusing the relationship of power or influence that exists in relation to him, shall be punished with imprisonment of up to three years. In such cases, it must be proven that the person in a position of power in the subordinate-superiority relationship system - teacher, caregiver, guardian, etc. - did he abuse his position and took advantage of it to establish a sexual relationship. However, it should be noted here that the law does not only punish sexual intercourse," said Zoltán Lomnici.
