It has been five years since the Baby'O Club in Székelykeresztúr opened its doors. The place, which originally operated as a club, was first expanded with a unit offering a beach experience, named Baby'O Beach Club, and later with a lounge. The development does not stop this year either, serious plans are already being made for 2023 in order to provide the only real club and party experience in the region.
"In addition to Udvarhely, more and more people are coming to us now from Csíkszereda, the Gyergyó area, but also from Szováta, Erdőszentgyörgy and Segesvár," Attila Tiboldi, the owner of the Baby'O group, who is very proud of providing quality, cultured entertainment opportunities over the years, began our conversation with a smile. was able to develop in the Székelykeresztúri basin. A team of nearly 20 people now works with the young entrepreneur every week to provide the only true club experience in the region. The owner told us during our conversation: he always had the goal of creating a metropolitan environment in the small town, towards which they are getting closer and closer, even if only with small steps.
"My other desire was to introduce the work of Romanian DJs to local Hungarians. There are a lot of skilled disc jockeys in the country, and over the years we have managed to establish partnerships with agencies that provide quality performers week after week. Of course, we usually invite Hungarian DJs from Transylvania, but we also provide a lot of space for Romanian artists," explained the founder of the Baby'O group, whose experience shows that they are still the only ones in Székelyföld who have developed a close working relationship with those active in the Romanian electronic music industry.
At Székelykeresztúr, the Baby'Os are also preparing for an event unprecedented in the region: they have invited the famous Romanian band Voltaj to July 28, 2023. "This will be our test, if we can pass this level, it will be a real satisfaction for us," says Attila Tiboldi, who wants to attract approximately 2,000 people to the venue within the framework of an all-day event. "We will also organize family programs this Friday, for example hot air ballooning, which both young and old will love. As the evening approaches, the music takes over the main role: first the Cluj-Napoca Trupa Incognito will take the stage, they will be followed by Voltaj, and after that we will have a party until sunrise with favorites such as Ionuț Bucur, Nitzu and Sax Machine" - he outlined the program in broad terms the founder-owner, for whom this will be his first big-stage event at the venue. According to the organizer's idea, the event will resemble a mini Neversea festival - and not only because of the recognition of the performers, but also because of the sandy nature of the waterfront.
