the TV2 Tények report , the Deák Square stabber did not apologize to the victim's family, in fact,
relatives told them that Martin, the 18-year-old boy who died on Friday, was to blame.
They added that their family member "did the right thing by stabbing him." Finally, it is not clear from the report when the relatives reported all this: after the news of the stabbing or after the news of the death.
As is well known, on Sunday morning two groups met in the downtown Deák square, where the perpetrator and the later victim fought over a girl. Zsolt K., also eighteen years old, stabbed Martin in the temple with his butterfly knife. Fifteen hours after the stabbing, the perpetrator was finally caught in Kőbánya, and the knife was also found in his possession. He was taken into custody, but he has not yet made a statement.
