On the occasion of the Memorial Day for the Victims of Communism, Péter Márki-Zay, the ex-prime ministerial candidate of the United Left, paid tribute to the victims of the Gulag camps, concept trials, attic sweeps and the dictatorship with a photo of the Nazi death camp in Auschwitz. (See above.)
Péter Márki-Zay, the ex-prime ministerial candidate of the united left, remembered the victims through social media on the occasion of the Memorial Day for the Victims of Communism. As he wrote: "Retsk, Gulag, concept trials, attic sweeping, emigration and death of hundreds of thousands. These characterized the everyday life of communism in this country. There was almost no Hungarian family that was not affected by the horrors of the system".
As a visual illustration of the text, he posted a photo that shows one of the guard towers and the spiked fences of the Auschwitz labor camp liberated by Stalin's troops.
