The administration of documents and vehicles will be suspended on March 7, Tuesday, due to the transition to the EU system, the Prime Minister's Office announced in a statement to MTI on Sunday.

Due to the IT transition in the European Union, document and vehicle administration will be suspended in all government offices in the country, and document offices will be closed on Tuesday, March 7.

Due to the implementation of the new version of the Schengen information system, matters related to, for example, identity cards, residential address cards, driver's licenses, passports, student cards cannot be dealt with in government windows on this day, and the administration of vehicle registration, withdrawal from circulation and entry into circulation, among other things, is suspended.

In addition, on Monday, March 6, it is only possible to receive passports issued within the framework of the 24-hour procedure immediately after 3:00 p.m. at the Central Documents Office (Budapest XIII. district, Visegrádi u. 110.) only in the case of applications submitted by noon, the Prime Minister's office announced.
