There were ideas about the fate of the luxury property in Yalta before, but now it seems that the local management has decided.

The luxury villa of the Russians Volodymyr Zelenskyi and his wife near Yalta will be lost for good. The seaside property was bought by the Ukrainian president and his wife in 2013, when Zelensky was still an actor, although it has not been visited since the annexation of Crimea the following year. Regarding the property, the question of how it should be used has been raised many times, and it seems that a decision has now been made.

The RIA Novosti news portal conducted an interview with the Russian leader of Crimea, Sergey Akshoyonov, who revealed that the property will be confiscated and will soon be handed over to poor families.

We must nationalize the properties that bring income to the enemy. I mean, of course, Zelensky is not releasing it now, but later one of his relatives may do so, for example. That's why we have to act

Aksjonov said in the interview, according to whom they are already looking for needy people with large families who can find a home here.

In April last year, the Crimean leadership adopted a law that allows the seizure of property belonging to citizens of enemy countries.
