On March 15, in memory of our heroic forebears, we announce that Hungarians have been a people of freedom for 1100 years, for thirty-three generations. We are free and we do not give up our self-determination for the sake of any power or fashion that seems attractive or zeitgeist
- emphasized János Csák in his celebratory speech held in the Museum Garden. The Minister of Culture and Innovation emphasized: the Carpathian Basin has always been a border region in our country. There were times when wars just ran over us, and there were times when we were under occupation, but
we never surrendered to anyone, we never became anyone's colony.
Because no one can occupy our spirit and soul. Being Hungarian is a spiritual phenomenon and spiritual heritage, he pointed out. "Without culture, the community falls apart," stated the head of the ministry.
According to the minister, Hungarian culture rests on strong foundations, and we are the victors of history. "Despite all the difficulties, we stand the ground, create and grow," he recorded.
He also said that the importance of peace in the shadow of the war raging in our neighborhood cannot be emphasized enough, and if the war breaks out, then the whole of Europe will be destroyed.
Courage today is to say: we want peace - noted János Csák, and then emphasized: the struggle only makes sense if we have families and children who will inherit Hungarian culture and freedom. "The trinity of God, home, and family is the pledge of Hungarian freedom," he noted .
The minister also emphasized that our predecessors were often able to cope even in much more difficult circumstances. We would be poor people if we were not worthy of them.
That is why we, today's Hungarians, have no choice but to pass on the spiritual phenomenon and spiritual heritage of Hungarian freedom to the next generations, and in doing so lay the foundation for the future of the Hungarian nation, consisting of capable, willing, economically strong and culturally self-confident families, for the next 1,100 years.
Long live Hungarian freedom, long live the homeland! János Csák concluded his speech.
In the interview it is said:
Hungarians have lived in the Carpathian Basin for 1,100 years, and in order for a nation to maintain its capacity to act, self-identity is necessary, which requires freedom, said János Csák in an interview with Hír TV at the Hungarian National Museum on the occasion of the national holiday on March 15. As he said, a slave cannot be free and will not be able to act. 1848 is proof that we tried to achieve this by peaceful means, in a constitutional way, the head of the ministry stated. He emphasized that there is only meaning in our family life and the passing on of heritage through the generations if it has meaning. - The content of our culture can be summed up in three words: God, family, home - emphasized János Csák. He also mentioned that March 15 reminds us of courage, and that culture is our root from which we can always draw strength. Without families, our culture will not survive, as it is primarily passed down through families, the minister noted. Finally, he emphasized: the country must get to the point where it is strong enough to create peace and security.
