gave a long interview to the Slovakian Denník N , who in recent weeks has repeatedly made headlines by saying that if Vladimir Putin had been successful in Ukraine, Hungary would have already had territorial claims against Slovakia.

In the interview, they touched on this detail as well, the head of the Slovak diplomacy stated that he never said in relation to Hungary that he would attack Slovakia. He continued that he did not even think that Hungary would ever attack the country militarily.

To this, the interviewer noted that " you said that they will act with territorial demands" . Káčer replied that "but I will return again to our experience in 1939. Czechoslovakia was not fighting Hitler, and the Vienna Arbitration was not a war. It was an arbiter's decision when the Allies simply dropped us."

Dennik N's employee noted that it is not 1939, and Slovakia and Hungary are also part of NATO. Káčer's answer was "what if we are in NATO?" At the end of the interview, the Slovak foreign minister responded that he is the foreign minister and is obliged to be a little paranoid and imagine bad scenarios.
