We have already seen someone who was promoted to the title of mayor of Budapest. Written by László Kovács Vésey.
"When tyranny can no longer be endured, when oppression is unbearable, then the bright-eyed, pure-hearted people move and shake off the shackles of power - this is roughly how the revolution shines in our romantic ideas, which for some reason are not usually dispersed in school history classes . Yet the revolution is not about the people; the people are at most a tool in it, and only for a limited time, as long as it is needed to take over power.
Today was the anniversary of the establishment of the Hungarian Soviet Republic in 1919, which is worth remembering, and it is worth getting to know how the phenomenon works, because the age of revolutions has not yet passed. The main concern of the founders and organizers of the revolution with the current ruling system is that they do not have the power in it, and they do not have enough diligence, steadfastness and patience to try to reach the desired power within the existing structure. This was already the case in the French Revolution of 1789, which served as a model for later revolutions, where lawyers, journalists, adventurers and useless figures who were good at sedition and conspiracy, but less talented in everything else, waded through the blood at the head of the crowd.
As the French Revolution gradually hardened from constitutionally reformed monarchy to radical republican terror and the click of the guillotine, this scenario repeated itself over and over again. A good example is the Russian revolution of 1917, where enormous general discontent raged in the war-weary country, all that was needed was a spark, and it came on March 12, 1917 (February 27 according to the local calendar), and the tsarist regime fell.
The communists were ahead of all their other political rivals in terms of organization, awareness, and conspiracy skills, so they only needed the overthrow of the old, stable system, followed by turbulent times, to exaggerate this advantage.(…)
In addition to blurring the point, we can't leave without a word, because the conspiratorial communist agents and their weak-handed, pliable character, very susceptible to self-conceit useful fools are both here in public life.
They appear primarily as candidates for prime minister, but we have already seen someone who was promoted to the title of mayor of Budapest, and then it soon became clear that certain of his subordinates and advisers were actually his movement bosses. There will always be such figures, as it is well known that opportunity gives birth to the useful fool; again and again they are launched by their masters as prime minister candidates when the core of the movement does not feel enough social capital behind them to win. Then, if the useful idiots win the election with their contentless, but sympathetic smile, they will soon be sidelined in the same way as, for example, Mihály Károlyi of Kun Bélá or Péter Medgyessy of Ferencsány Gyurcsány."
