Obviously, the Romanians do not like the MLSZ's decision agreed with UEFA, as a result of which the flag/coat of arms depicting historical Hungary can be brought into the matches of our national football team.

The Romanian football association simply lied to the Hungarians, and president Sándor Csányi laconically said nothing about it. Well, comment, dear Romanians, Europe doesn't always judge you, even if it's a bit unusual!

Thank God, we have reached the point where the majority of Hungarians consider historical Hungary as their homeland. And their government sees it as such. We are all forced to bear the fact that foreign empires reign in our territories, which were separated in Trianon in 1920 and then in Paris in 1947, for the time being, but in the last 12-13 years there has been a serious government effort to promote Hungarianness across the border and in the diaspora in the same way be a part of the national body, stay like the people from the motherland.

This is why churches are being rebuilt in these areas, and why education, culture, economic investments and nurturing the Hungarian language are important. Or if you like, that is why it is important to support, encourage and develop foreign sports.

They - typically with disdain - continue to declare every time that our compatriots living abroad do not even symbolically belong to the nation. They accuse Fidesz of favoring them only because of the maximization of votes and that the goal of the ruling party is only political gain.

Of course, those across the border know very well that they cannot expect anything from the domestic left, as they constantly question even their existence in their campaigns. They live in Romania, let them prosper there as they wish! As the leftist-turned-rightist put it: they are considered to be bought for glass beads.

However, the national government knows exactly that there is a need for centers of power beyond the border. One such center of power is sport. Lately, there have been more and more Romanian racist, anti-Hungarian movements in the Székely stadiums, especially at the matches of Sepsi OSK, who have now reached the upper house in the Romanian football championship and have serious podium goals there in the elite, they can boast of international results and the training of the younger generation is also important. .

And unfortunately, the problem is not only with the fans. One of their most recent matches against a team from Craiova was interrupted by the referee because unbearable Hungarian hatred was pouring out of the stands. After that, the association gave the three points to the Szeklers at the green table. Unfortunately, this caused outrage in the nationalist camp, so the association backed down and replayed the match. Well, the people of Székely then struck, beating the protestors 4:0. Respect!

Returning to the flag issue: the people of Facebook are tolerant and offered Romania that they too can safely use the map of historical Romania in the matches. If requested, UEFA will surely allow it.

I think we would like to see the two historic flags raised side by side, together with the Hungarian fans, in a national team match.
