On March 29, the speech of founding president László Csizmadia was given at the CÖF-CÖKA press conference. We publish this, but you can also watch the video of the entire event here.

In the last four years, the institutional system of the European Union has dismantled the Christian identity. The defense system of Judeo-Christian culture and morality has weakened. The actions of the 27 member states are subordinated to the political and economic interests of the United States.

The spiritual patriots of CÖF-CÖKA see that the Union would be strengthened by the inclusion of the Western Balkan countries and would become a negotiating partner at the level of a great power, and could be a guarantee of political and economic balance in the world. This condition is also missing within NATO, the self-defense of the Union's member states is insufficient, and its military role cannot be evaluated. Synchronizing the forces of the member countries on the European continent in a compatible manner with the American army is inevitable, but in such a way that we are capable of self-defense, if necessary, and can also provide guarantees in the maintenance of world peace.

The sovereignty of the countries of Europe must be strengthened, unlike the federal government of the United States. The culture of our indigenous population, which goes back thousands of years, provides a golden cover for the operation of an association of a higher order than a federation, emphasizing the principle of subsidiarity. From our point of view

the existence of our world is based on respect for the principle of classical democracy, i.e. the principle of popular sovereignty. If the bureaucratic organization of the European Union does not detect all of this, we will suffer the decline of our economic and political power.

The primacy of the EU's economy must be placed before political conflicts of interest during decisions. Opposing party political lobbying must be suppressed.

The summer of 2024 is very close, so now is the time to change EU election laws. The European institutional system, in need of reforms, increasingly weakened the rights of the parliaments of the member states, local democracy, and subsidiarity.

When deciding people's destiny issues, it is necessary to expand exhaustively which laws require ratification by the member states. The laws on citizens' initiatives that have been adopted so far are to be rejected, exclusionary and have become a graveyard for the enforcement of human community rights.

The Prime Ministers and Heads of State of the 27-member Council of Europe will take a position on civil initiatives submitted by EU citizens with the assistance of the ad hoc civil committee established from 2024. The ad hoc civil committee may consist of one designated civil delegate of the parliaments of the member states, accepted on a majority basis. With the agreed opinion of the civil commission working alongside the ET, it would create a direct link with the interests of European citizens, raising the improvement initiatives of citizens to the highest level.

Our proposed solution would bypass the partisan interests of EU parliamentarians, thus ensuring the control and power of initiative of the people's majesty. In addition to the freedom of sovereignty, the draft law drawn up by the European Council and civil committee could be adopted individually by the parliaments of the member countries with the guarantee of the enforcement of local majority democracy and subsidiarity.
