If they bump into an acquaintance or friend, there is no spontaneous joy, no smiling, only complaints come out of their mouths and they constantly look down.
It's like most people are at crossroads all year round. He walks his own stations every day with a heavy cross, so he cannot raise his eyes.
I look at those who go to church on Sundays. Most of them walk towards the house of God with their heads down. Even in the church, they mostly look down, even if they are praying to the Creator.

However, the Stations of the Cross is only regularly held during Lent, and the story of suffering ends with the holy mystery of our faith, the resurrection.
It is also true that the cross itself is a symbol of hope and faith in the future. That is why the cross must be raised as high as possible so that bowed heads can look up, because with Easter comes not only the resurrection, but also the hope that the cross of the majority will be lighter from station to station.
