Another anti-government demonstration took place on Sunday afternoon in Prague.

In front of the tens of thousands of demonstrators gathered in Wenceslas Square, the speakers sharply criticized the rising prices in the country, the lack of medicine, the high deficit of the state budget, demanded the limitation of the aid provided to Ukraine, the withdrawal of the Czech Republic from NATO and the resignation of the center-right government led by Petr Fiala.

According to them, the cabinet should deal with solving the problems of the Czechs, not the Ukrainians.

The two-hour protest against poverty was organized by the non-parliamentary party called Právo Respekt Odbornost (Law, Respect, Expertise - PRO).
The Wenceslas Square protesters waved Czech flags and chanted anti-government slogans. Jindrich Rajchl , the president of the PRO, stated that the government is responsible for the impoverishment of the Czech population today, so it should leave as soon as possible. They also criticized the EU's failed green policy and the EU policy related to the Russian-Ukrainian war.

Earlier, Jindrich Rajchl said that they wanted to blockade the government buildings. Now he only said that the demonstration will be moved from Wenceslas Square to the government headquarters in the future. In his speech, the speaker called the government a "gang".
