We don't even have time to wonder. There are so many scandals unfolding in the world that we forget to marvel at them. Just don't get used to it!
We have had the Russian-Ukrainian war on our necks for more than a year, then the explosion of the Nord Stream, then the EU's corruption cases, first the involvement of COVID vaccines and von der Leyen, then the suspicious money-laundering scandal of Katalin Czech, then the parliamentary lies, one gender case after another, and what do we think of the American wiretapping case? However, Andre Gide was able to say that "there is nothing to be liberated, the really tiring task is to find out what to do with freedom." I suspect that's not what he meant!
