Kindergartens maintained by the Reformed Church will be built, renovated and expanded with HUF 35 billion, Szerencsen, the State Secretary of the Prime Minister's Office responsible for church and ethnic relations, announced on Thursday.

Miklós Soltész took part in the foundation stone laying ceremony of the new kindergarten of the Zsigmond Rákóczi Reformatory Dual Language Elementary School and Elementary Art School. He said: with the help of the national kindergarten program launched by the church, more than two hundred group rooms are being renovated or created in sixty-six locations. This affects a total of five thousand places. Three thousand of them will be completely new. The new kindergarten in Szerencs, which will accommodate fifty children, will be built by the Reformed Church District of Tiszánin with HUF 573 million, with the support of the government, the state secretary added.

In connection with the Ukrainian-Russian war, he explained that the alliance that the government concluded with the religions in the field of education also applied to the building of communities and the entire nation. They also provide support to refugees and the needy during this difficult war period, the politician added. He emphasized that kindergartens help children develop both physically and mentally.
