For decades, the Jászok Association, the organization connecting the ancestral and living Jasz people, has been commemorating in the capital the anniversary of the issuance of the royal diploma (May 6, 1745) that restored the ancient freedom of the Jászkuns. Since 2014, this date has been the day of commemoration of the Jászkun self-redemption, according to the decision of the Parliament.
This year's wreath-laying will be held at the renovated memorial plaque of academician Dr. Jenő Czettler, former president of our association, on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 5:00 p.m. (Budapest, VI., Andrássy út 83-85, near the Körönd).
Those interested are cordially invited and welcome to the commemoration!
