I welcome the defenders of the free world in Budapest - the beginning of Viktor Orbán's speech at the CPAC Hungary event in Budapest. The Prime Minister also greeted Irakli Garibashvili, the Prime Minister of Georgia, Andrej Babis, the former Prime Ministers of the Czech Republic, and Janez Jansa, the former Prime Ministers of Slovenia.
According to the Prime Minister, it has become a good habit for us that the conservative world flocks to Budapest in the spring. But how did the Hungarians end up in such a prestigious club? asked the prime minister. According to him, there can only be one reason for this:
Hungary is an incubator where the conservative politics of the future are tested.
Here, we are not only talking about defeating the progressive liberals, but we actually did it, said Viktor Orbán. According to the Prime Minister, Hungary was in a terrible situation when it took power in 2010, but it was able to recover with the help of conservative politics. "Only conservative politics can help where liberals have ruined a country," he pointed out.
According to the Prime Minister, no one in the world was interested in Hungarian success until 2015, we were not famous. We owe the Hungarians' success to György Soros: if Soros had not announced his immigration program, we would never have been on the front page of the world press, said the prime minister. According to his words, the Soros flooded the Balkans with illegal migrants and built the human smuggling route, but they ran into Hungary.
He stated: we did not desire world fame, yet we became so after speaking out against the liberals. - We defend ourselves because the globalist elite wants to impose its will on us. Now we are all under attack, he emphasized. As he said, the nation is the great invention of the West, but if the nations evaporate, then the possibility of a free life will be lost and the West will fail.
The ideal of the nation is our special Western heritage, said the Prime Minister, and then recalled the three-day visit of the Holy Father. As he said, last year the CPAC and the head of the Catholic Church arrived in Hungary half a year apart, this year it was only a week. "Maybe next year the Pope will also visit the event," he noted. Viktor Orbán also spoke about the fact that the West is in a bad position both economically and demographically. In his view, it is even stronger in terms of military power, but in the future, if it lags behind in all areas, it will lead to an increase in military conflicts. We can only blame ourselves for all this, he said. In his view, when leftists unleashed the virus on the world, many conservatives said the anti-national virus was just a lab escapee. This virus was bred, migration, gender, woke are only a sub-variant of these viruses. "The woke movement and gender ideology are like communism and Marxism: they artificially break up the various groups and thus the nation," he pointed out.
He also talked about how progressive foreign policy causes chaos and confusion, but he is sure that if Donald Trump were the president of the United States, there would be no war in Ukraine. "Mr. President, come back and bring us peace," he emphasized .The prime minister emphasized that the progressives put diplomatic pressure on countries, and anyone who does not support migration or gender ideology is their enemy and betrays Western values. "We are tired of this, but we cannot take it lightly," he recorded.
The prime minister also blamed the progressives for the practice of pushing leaders they don't like to say what they think about gender politics and LGBTQ movements. If you do not agree with their aspirations, you will be excommunicated - explained the Prime Minister, who says that in Brussels it is now necessary to stop these progressive forces from taking away from the nation states the right to form an independent foreign policy. The good news is that the turnaround has arrived in Europe, for example, the conservatives won in Italy and Israel, and the promising Spanish elections are ahead of us, but the stars are also good for our Polish friends. And then the European Parliament elections can come, when we can drain the Brussels swamp. There is no need to look any further for an antidote to the progressive virus, the vaccine is here in Hungary.
said Viktor Orbán. Finally, the Prime Minister emphasized: Brussels and Washington are still in the hands of the liberals, so let's make sure that we occupy them as well - concluded the Prime Minister's speech.
