The head of the Median polling institute vented on his Facebook page after losing a lawsuit against Gábor Kálomista.

"Since I have been a well-known (and perhaps recognized) independent pollster for decades, who is listened to and listened to by the public, according to the Capital Court, I have to put up with falsehoods about me in an old propaganda film being stated as facts," Hann said in a post published on his Facebook page. Endre, head of the Median polling institute, disparaging the highly popular Hungarian film ElkXrtuk.

It is known: he lost the lawsuit he initiated against Hann End in the second instance at the Budapest Court of Appeals due to the film ElkXrtuk. Hann Endre, who is connected to the left, does not appear in the fictional story, but he thought he knew him and sued the company that recorded the film. As reported by our paper, the court ruled in favor of Endre Hann in December last year - according to Gábor Kálomista, the film's producer - with an objectionable trial, but Kálomista appealed against the verdict.

According to the Budapest Jury, the creative and artistic freedom of the film ElkXrtuk is stronger than the plaintiff's personal rights and protection.

This is a very good, very convincing final decision, since there was a significant change in the verdict compared to the first instance. I think that today's judgment was important from the point of view of freedom of speech, expression of opinion, and artistic freedom, since they attacked a work in a way that I think is quite unprecedented - Gábor Kálomista told Magyar Nemzet after the announcement of the final verdict.
