Military expert Ferenc Vukics, founder of the National Defense Free University Foundation, spoke about the possible steps of the warring parties, the danger of escalation and nuclear war, and the future of Europe.

"There is no such thing as being innocent in an armed struggle. The worst thing that can happen now, when we feel that things are not right and are not moving in the right direction, is when we cut off contact with those who disagree with us.

If the higher powers say it, from now on we cannot talk to the Chinese or Russian leader, there can be no dialogue between the parties"

Ferenc Vukics started the conversation.

War scenarios if they exist

Are there scenarios in a war, so is there one in Ukraine?

"Wars are always carefully thought through, but usually at the first shot of a rifle or the firing of a cannon, the decision-makers realize that the processes are going in a completely different direction. The plans carried out in advance were only good for the fact that we reviewed the resources, but then comes a crisis management".

It is in the interest of all humanity that a nuclear war does not occur, "but humanity must do something about it.

At the moment, I see that everyone is waiting with their necks down to see what happens, where the fighting will go next"

Ferenc Vukics stated.

The military expert then said that whoever wants to lead the world and wants to define its system of relations has a responsibility. Be this leader in Kiev, Moscow, Paris, London or Washington. "In the military, it is said that the commander is responsible for everything he did or failed to do. We expect the political elite to solve this task and act appropriately. The most important thing,

so that life can win and move on.

If we don't learn this simple principle, humanity will most likely not have much of a vision for the future," noted Ferenc Vukics.

Europe simply has no war consciousness

He said he agrees with analysts who say

that Europe has no war consciousness.

That's why we're here. The members of the previous generation were not able to pass on experience to the young people," added the military specialist, then continued by saying that "those who see the events of the war through games, the media, or simply comment on the subject on social media, all believe that that they are part of the events, the conflict. They feel that they have to take sides. But war consciousness is not that".

According to Ferenc Vukics, the life instinct of Hungarian society is good. Because

"While Western societies are pro-war, around 90 percent of the Hungarian population rejects war from the beginning. And we need to find allies for these insights"

he added.

"The world is facing a huge change"

The expert believes that "the world is facing a huge change. It hovers over us like the sword of Damocles. As a result, we have two options: humanity gives up its principles of wanting to control its own life and democracy is functional. Or he acknowledges that for democracy to work and for our basic human needs to be met, a little more needs to be done.

More communities must be created, better organized societies must be created,

and the forces that are interested in triggering similar conflicts for economic or geopolitical reasons must be dealt with harshly. An average Russian does not want to kill an average Ukrainian," he stated.

Europe has become Ukraine's wartime hinterland

Ferenc Vukics drew attention to the fact that "Europe has actually become Ukraine's wartime hinterland".

He told Mandiner.hu that "we interpret this as the Germans did when they were asked what war participation was. At that time, they said that when soldiers are trained for war participation, the delivery of weapons is not yet.

If we train soldiers, this surely means that we are war participants."

He recalled that NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg had repeatedly stated that "the Russians cannot win this war."

"Besides all this, the United States also treats Ukraine as a partner, and this raises interesting questions in the case of the nuclear doctrine. This means that not only the USA, but also its allies can protect Ukraine. This is another step that could complicate the current situation," the specialist opined.

All analysts see that Kiev has begun to wear out

Regarding the peacekeepers, Ferenc Vukics also spoke about the fact that all analysts see that the Ukrainian armed forces are beginning to be exhausted.

"It is their last chance to be able to solve tasks with their own resources and with Western help. In case,

when it turns out that these resources are no longer capable of achieving a more serious result, then there will be a change in Western thinking.

According to his assessment, this is possible in the following way: One is to start in the direction of agreement and peace. But according to the expert, in the other case, it may also happen that they will try to mobilize a larger economy to replace Ukraine's resources, and this could be Poland. According to some reports, the Poles would be willing to perform this task, he believed. Because, as he said, Warsaw wants to keep all structures with the Three Seas Initiative and the Bucharest Nine, but only in order to build their own alliance network.

The Poles take all the resources that are available in the countries of the latter alliance. And the Hungarians were told that our separate opinion threatens European security and

they hope that they can change Budapest's attitude.

Ferenc Vukics pointed out.
