By the grace of God, I have not come across the name of the journalist W. Árpád Tóta. Unfortunately, nothing lasts forever.
By a twist of fate, I came across the name of this opposition preacher while reading an interview with Orsolya Ferencz, so I searched for him on the Internet.
When I then read A bárány háłt - I don't subscribe to HVG even if it eats hell - I immediately understood why Orsolya Ferencz mentioned this name in a judgmental way.
Let's see!
"Maybe Ferenc doesn't know where he came from? How did the Hungarians get from robbery campaigns to the title of the continent's thief in a thousand years, when they no longer specifically hand over cash? He obviously knows."
Reading these lines, blood rushes to our faces understandably and rightly!
But not only because he mentions the name of Pope Francis – with noticeable cynicism and dishonoring – simply as Francis, but also because of his sentence that insults the entire Hungarian nation.
It is simply incomprehensible to me how a person who calls himself Hungarian and writes about his country in such a style and with such content can live in Hungary!
And if you don't consider/feel Hungarian - because we have to prepare for this eventuality as well - then what right do you have to pick up a "Hungarian" pen?
What right does he have to write articles with it, with which he infects a part of Hungarian society - young people, who are considered the pledge of the future?
Because if he just wrote all of this in his desk drawer, it would be a private matter, slush, we have no objection to him - if that's how he feels, then that's how he feels.
However, his writings are embraced and publicized by entities that do or want to do politics, who see in them confirmation of their own disruptive activity.
We must never forget: pen and ink are not sinful in themselves, they only become so if the pen-wielder dips his pen in ink with malicious intent. From then on, the ink becomes poison and the pen becomes a poison-spewing curse.
Just as it happened with W. Tóta: the writing became a dishonorable and treacherous poison to offend the patriotic Hungarian citizens who make up the majority of the country. To harass and disrupt.
To do so is dishonorable and shameful.
Or would this really be all-encompassing liberal freedom of expression?
