There was an accident in Slovakia, a Hungarian bus collided with a truck on the D2 highway. According to the news, 55 people were injured in the incident.

Tamás Menczer announced on his social media that a Hungarian bus crashed in Slovakia on the D2 highway. The state secretary also reported that the rescue is taking place on the spot, and their colleagues are on the spot.

According to the Slovak portal Ma7, a Hungarian bus collided with a truck on the section of the D2 heading towards the Czech Republic. According to currently available data, one person was killed and 55 were injured.

28 firefighters from Malacca and Bratislava are assisting at the scene, providing medical first aid to the injured and freeing trapped persons from the bus that suffered the accident. After the collision, half of the bus was trapped in the truck.

The police are diverting traffic towards Malacka, on road I/2. Due to the situation, the affected section of the highway will be closed for a longer period of time, the Bratislava police wrote on Facebook.

The drivers were also probed on the spot, but the result was negative.
