Statement of the Social Alliance for Peace and Neutrality.
The political and media elite is doing everything in order to put Austria on the side of NATO. If it succeeds, Austria will become a war party.
The majority of Austrians do not want to take part in the war against Russia and quite understandably fear that the country's security and economy will be threatened. The Austrian "Social Alliance for Peace and Neutrality" (Soziales Bündnis für Frieden und Neutralität) set itself the goal of creating as broad an alliance as possible and mobilizing widely to preserve neutrality.
The enforcement of Austria's constitutionally guaranteed neutrality would greatly contribute to peace.Instead of working for peace in Europe, the neo-capitalist elite of Eastern Europe, together with the EU and NATO, at the word of Washington and Brussels, turned against Russia, against the public opinion of their own countries. In the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary, the majority rejects war efforts against Russia, which pose an even greater threat to them than to Austria. That is why the people living in the countries neighboring Austria are so loudly demanding neutrality and peace with Russia that their governments must also respond.
The Austrian organization "Social Alliance for Peace and Neutrality" joined forces with the Hungarian Forum for Peace movement to work together for the cause of neutrality.The initiative has already been signed by about a thousand people.
