The feeling of alienation prevailed: those who think normally feel that they are alone, and there is incredible group pressure on them to give up their traditions, beliefs, and value system. Andrea Földi-Kovács, a member of the board of trustees of the Protected Society Foundation, justified the creation of the NGO with this. The television journalist told hirado.hu: the "protected society" - unlike, for example, Soros' Open Society Foundations - does not serve the purpose of gaining power and influence in the media or politics. He put it this way: "our tool is calm power".

– When I saw the first news about the Protected Society Foundation, it immediately occurred to me that this could be a response to György Soros's Open Society Foundation and its idealism.

- You see perfectly well, but it's not just the Open Society Foundation: a much more comprehensive and complex network is behind these systems that want to spread the new spirit. But if we want to name it, it is really appropriate to say that it is the system of Open Society Foundations. A network whose controllers hide their true intentions behind sound ideas. Ostensibly, they fight for freedom of expression, transparency, responsible governance, and societies that promote justice and equality. However, their real aspiration is to blur the boundaries in a physical, biological and moral sense. Creating weakened social structures, creating atomized communities, causing confusion, creating chaos. All this serves the power and financial interests of a well-defined narrow group. The result of their coordinated international action resulted in irreversible processes in many parts of the world. We want to stop this - wherever possible.

– What can be known about the creation of the foundation and its circumstances?

- We started thinking together about a year ago. Finally, the decision was made and we came to the conclusion that we have to do it for a normal life.

- What does that mean?

– We used to think that the traditional way of life alone provides enough immunity and protection to protect us from all unwanted changes. Society is forced to undergo transformations in Western Europe, the United States or Canada. Almost at the same time, we realized that if we do not prevent the spread of harmful idealism in our own communities, if it continues to conquer new and new areas of our lives unhindered, we can completely lose our ability to act, thereby endangering the most vulnerable, our children and their future. We also had to establish that the network of NGOs is extremely overrepresented in the public - and those marginal opinions that do not represent the opinion, vision and worldview of the majority occupy too much space, at too many points and positions - are very influential in position - are present. That is why we no longer want to be a silent, but a loud – or audible – majority, perhaps this is our primary objective.

- What can you do in the flood of attacks against communities - social norms and families - and with what means can you act?

"Mostly by example." Until now, we have done so separately, but from now on, together under the auspices of the foundation, we will raise awareness of traditional values with our speeches and work. By standing up to the public and talking about values, morality, tradition and what is good and what is not good. If you like, about absolute values and absolute truth. We believe that such things exist. We also want to talk about how protecting traditional values and the family model is not intolerance or exclusion. Just as it is not homophobia to oppose LGBTQ propaganda among children. Sheer sobriety, a virtue much needed today. We try to network those domestic and international organizations that think similarly to us. To show the size of the network of civil organizations and people who think in normal, traditional values. An interactive map is also being prepared for this, which interested parties will find on our website in the near future.

- Why is it important to display this other "net"?

- We are overwhelmed by the feeling of alienation: everyone who thinks normally or according to traditional values feels that he is alone. The majority does not like being falsely accused, so they either remain silent or change their opinion and attitude against their principles. This is the harshest group pressure that we have ever witnessed in history, as it forces the majority to give up their principles, traditions, and faith. We want to give strength and encouragement to this community by showing that there are many of us. Moreover, we trust that there are more than that particular counter-network.

- I saw on their website that they already have quite a few foreign contacts. What organizations can we talk about?

- They already operate in the United States and Canada, and the Protected Society Foundation was recently established in Australia. There are support groups in many countries throughout Europe, and they indicate to our center their intention to join and cooperate. These are organizations operating along similar values that have learned about our establishment, read our website or heard the news through any informal channel, and contact us. For example, a German group translated our manifesto into eight languages, and it is being distributed throughout Europe. We believe that even in those countries in which irreversible processes may already have started, there are people and groups - perhaps even the majority - who think along normal, traditional values. And they want to resist these "progressive" ideological currents. They were happy to hear about our establishment. It is very important that this networking is not only suitable for exchanging information, making contacts, and strengthening each other, but also multiplies our strength. It eliminates duplication in the system and provides the opportunity for continuous contact and information exchange. Knowledge and energy add up. But now, as a first step, we just wanted to "log in": we are here, there are so many of us, and we are present worldwide just like that other network.

- This seems like a David and Goliath fight, although we know its outcome: the Soros Foundation represents incredible influence, both in our country and on the international scene. How can this terrible disproportion be bridged?

– This disproportion only seems so great at first glance. They really spent billions of dollars over decades to conduct a social transformation experiment, and they really influence masses of people in the direction of values that do not represent real value. I think it goes against human nature, and actually the force is on our side. We may not have billions and our network was not built in decades, but there is no need for us to influence people. It is enough to create the possibility of connection. If this actually happens, it will strengthen our side. Our goal is fundamentally different from what the Open Society Foundations strive for. Their goal is influence. They are looking for intervention points, not only in the civil sphere, but also in political systems. They participate in the administration of justice: they also have important positions there. All of this serves the purpose of gaining power and influence in the media, the public, politics, and the judiciary. We do not strive for that. Our goals and methods are completely different, we don't want to clash.

- Other collisions, however, may be unavoidable. Representations of marginal groups apply unsolicited in all layers of the community and even the private sphere.

- The purpose of the spread of violent ideologies, often conscious and deliberate provocations - which we are now also facing in Hungary - is to create tension between social groups, subversion and continuous chaos. That is why the most important challenge for us is to protect our values in such a way that we do not become tools of the subversives. So we think that a "protected society" is both peaceful and safe. Our tool is calm power. Our actions convey determination, but also affection. We do not wish to rise above any kind of provocation, and we do not wish to be available as a tool to incite social tensions. I recently gave a lecture on the "new feminism", for example. Radical feminism creates tension between men and women by referring to women's rights, but we want to eliminate these points of tension. So we do not enter the fight by generating another fight, but want to represent a sane majority - normally and lovingly.
